Oncology Department - International Patient Care Coordinator
Responsible for coordinating the complete care process for international patients, from online admission to their stay in the clinic. I provide direct assistance and multilingual translation (Spanish, English, Portuguese) to the Medical Director, managing and updating detailed medical records in digital platforms (Drive, management software) and in physical format.
Team management and workflows: distribution of tasks to the team, minute-by-minute monitoring of the patient's medical evolution and exhaustive control of diagnostic results. In the clinic we work with advanced cik and dendritic cell therapies, Cryoablations, ECT, genetic and chemotherapy sensitivity tests, IT, Hyperthermia, Neoantigen Vaccines, SSO3 therapies, Biopsies, O.V., with an extensive network of laboratories and specialists inside and outside the EU.
Clinical logistics: Coordination of shipments of biological samples, management of radiological studies and organisation of the agenda of the Medical Team, operating theatre and international scientific committee meetings
Patient and family care: Empathetic and clear communication with relatives about the patient's evolution, coordination with nursing, administration
Professional dialogue: Organisation of video calls with specialists and international collaborators, guaranteeing secure and timely access to clinical information.
Financial management: Budgeting, reviewing and sending invoices to patients, and producing quarterly financial reports and departmental results.
Coordination of emergencies and repatriations: Management of emergency transfers and repatriations with precision and discretion.
Training, representation and organisation: Attendance at national and international medical congresses and courses together with the Medical Management.
Preparing and attending the respective health inspections.
